Perhaps one of the best types of coffee products on the market today is the espresso beverage. Many people already know that there are an infinite number of ways that espresso can be combined to make the best beverages that there is a whole market for the coffee and espresso self-proclaimed fanatics! Even if you’re not an avid coffee or espresso drinker chances are that you’ve had the chance to taste espresso at some point in your life. In addition, chances are that you also know that there are plenty of other products on the market today that are modeled after espresso. Here are just some of the food and beverage products to try if you like regular espresso!

Espresso Mocha Drinks!

There are many places that offer customers the chance to buy espresso mocha drinks and beverages, including milkshakes. Many times these beverages are ice-cold, but supposedly it adds to the flavor of the already-popular espresso. There are many great things about espresso mocha drinks, though. First, they do taste like a regular cold cup of espresso. One example of a restaurant that includes a “Mocha Chill” is the Arby’s restaurant. In very recent years Arby’s Roast Beef has introduced the “Mocha Chill,” which is essentially an espresso mocha beverage on ice! This beverage has turned into a very popular cold espresso drink for this fast food restaurant and will be popular for years to come as people continue to get hooked on espresso products!

Espresso Ice Cream!

Another cold product that is regularly sold in grocery stores and specialty ice cream shops is espresso ice cream. There is actually a type of ice cream that tastes like espresso. However, espresso ice cream is probably not that hard to make considering that many people add milk to their espresso in the first place. All that really needs to be done in order to churn ice cream is to add condensed milk, other minor ingredients, and then the mixture can be frozen and eaten later when it’s turned to ice cream!

Espresso Candy

There are all sorts of different flavors for candy on the market today and one of these products is espresso jelly beans. One popular company that has been responsible for the production of espresso jelly beans is the Jelly Belly Bean Company, but there espresso-tasting jelly bean has literally flew off the shelves because so many people enjoy the product.

These are just a few of the espresso products that are regularly sold on the market, though, and there are plenty of other foods and beverages that are given the ingredient of espresso just to attract many different customers! For example, if you have ever taken a trip to a coffee shop then you already know the hundreds of different ways espresso can be combined to make unusual drinks! Nevertheless, espresso has long been a popular flavor for a whole lot of things and it will continue to be popular throughout the coming years!

Marketing industries are quick to catch on to what’s hot on the market, what sells and what consumers will pay a premium price for. Good marketing strategies tout particular characteristics of products and show them off as something exclusive, making consumers think they”re buying something special and innovative. But buyer beware! Marketing companies use mind manipulation and the general ignorance of people as tactics to help promote merchandise, boost prices and bring in sales. Don’t be one of those consumers who believe everything they read!

A perfect example of good marketing is the coffees that are low in acid. Some companies are using come-hither strategies such as pairing low acid coffee with specialized diets or medical illnesses. A quick search of low acid coffee on the internet doesn’t bring up processing descriptions but a plethora of coffee companies blaring words like “new” and ‘specially-processed.” Dig a little more and narrow down your search to find out exactly what low acid coffee is and you”ll realize it’s not any more special than the coffee you’ve been drinking for years, and certainly not worth paying extra money for.

So what is it exactly? Very simply, it’s coffee that has been dark-roasted. There’s nothing special that’s been done to the bean, and there’s no fancy process that’s been used to eliminate stomach irritants to the beans. In fact, dark-roasting is the most common roasting process used with coffee beans today. The darker the roast, the less acid the coffee bean is left with and there you have your low acid coffee. If you find coffee irritating to your stomach, and you believe that coffee gives you heartburn or you’ve been told by your doctor that you’d be best to drink a low acid coffee, don’t hit specialty aisles or look for premium priced coffee. Simply choose the darkest roast of coffee available, and you”ll be buying the same low acid coffee as the one being marketed with bells and whistles. This product is a great way to show you, the consumer, the marketing strategies out there today that only make us spend our hard-earned money on so-called exclusive items and foods we don’t need. Keep manipulative tactics in mind when you go shopping, and be leery of believing marketing catch-words that make you think you”re buying something special or new.

Stay informed whenever you can. Doing some research to know if you”re really buying something worth the extra money is very quick and easy if you use the internet. Usually it takes less than five minutes to find out if you”re buying something a cut above the rest or if you”re being taken for a ride. Marketing businesses depend on the public’s interest, laziness and general acceptance to help companies make money and boost sales, so remember the example of low acid coffee and maintain a healthy level of disbelief while you”re shopping.

When choosing coffee beans for your automatic machine there are two main factors to consider (& this is really, really simple).

1. Taste – Obviously you want your coffee to taste the way you want it, thats the reason why you bought your own coffee machine in the first place.

2. Usability – Yes, you must be able to use your beans. Most home bean to cup machines have quite small bean hoppers (where you put your beans in at the top) & they also generally have quite a shallow fall to the grinding element. I recently bought what looked like a beautiful 1kg bag of french roast arabica, I opened it up & boy did that aroma hit me. I poured an amount into my machine and hit the go button. NOTHING – the beans were too oily to make it down to the grinder!

TIP: DON’T BUY OILY COFFEE BEANS FOR YOUR AUTOMATIC BEANS TO CUP MACHINE!

It’s so obvious but this is the second time i’ve been seduced by nice looking/smelling beans only to find they don’t work with my machine.

Filter Coffee Machines

Filter coffee machines come in a wide variety of volumes and are super easy to use. Water drips slowly through the basket of ground coffee to infuse in a pot. No need to boil the water first – just pour in the cold & the machine does the rest. Filter coffee machines usually have thermos pots and a hot plate to keep the coffee warm.

Models have either permanent or paper holders. Permanent filters save you money but they can be messy to clean and can taint. Paper holders are more hygienic and can be simply thrown away after use.

Some filter coffee machines use a ‘pod’ system with is really clean and easy. The pods are essentially round ‘tea bags’ that contain coffee or foil-encased pods that produce a cup of filter coffee without a mess. Percolators work the other way around. Ground coffee is put into a holder at the top, water in the bottom. Once boiled, the water is forced up a vertical tube then over and through the filter, with the brewed coffee settling in the bottom of the jug. There’s a glass dome at the top so you can see how dark the coffee is becoming. Percolators are ideal for those who want to vary the strength of their filter coffee, though some coffee aficionados consider the coffee not to be as good.

Freshness: Confessions of a bean to cup coffee machine

When the ultimate in freshness counts, the bean to cup coffee machine is the absolute best bet. The aroma of freshly ground beans can be appreciated by anyone, not just the coffee lovers. Many other types of coffee like frozen, vacuum sealed, pre-ground, and pods have made claims in the past of being a fresh coffee, but there really is no comparison to bean to cup machines. The only way to achieve that whole bean freshness is to truly grind it for every cup. Bean to cup always wins.

As far as counter space goes, since the unit is both a grinder and a coffee machine, the footprint actually ends up being rather compact. And traditionally their push button operation systems are super simple. And the side affect of the amazing aroma from the grinding is just an added bonus.

Finding the right machine is really simple. Basically decide how much volume you’ll need on a daily basis. A light volume is traditionally thirty to eighty cups a day. A medium volume is one hundred to two hundred cups a day. And a heavy volume is anything about that two hundred mark. Of course these specifications sometimes vayt from manufacturer to manufacturer.

A Bean To Cup Coffee Machine can often be used to make an array of fresh coffee drinks. In addition to the regular coffee, they can make espresso, Cafe Americano, Cafe Latte, Cappuccino and Mochaccino drinks. And to have them prepared fresh is an amazing treat for any coffee drink lover.

The machines, especially for home use, are very easy to find. Retailers sell them along with their traditional coffee machines. Stick with a well known brand like Gaggia, Jura, Nespresso, Mielé since the machine is going to be doing more than just brewing coffee. You want the mechanics of the grinder to be well made since it will be used every time a cup is brewed.

There really is nothing better than a freshly ground and brewed cup of coffee. Any true coffee connoisseur will have to agree, avoid the frozen, pre-ground, pods, vacuum sealed coffees and go fresh if you want to have the ultimate experience in coffee.

How to Clean a machine – the old fashioned way

One of the most effective and quite inexpensive ways to keep your coffee machine clean, especially the drip type machines, is to rinse it out thoroughly at least once a month and do this on a regular basis. All you need is vinegar and water to accomplish this and you will have a coffee machine that brews better tasting coffee each time. Mix a whole coffee pot with a mixture of half vinegar and half water. Let this run through the machine completely and then let is stand for about 30 minutes or so. If you have not done this on a regular basis, it is advisable to repeat this procedure again. After the second run through, again letting it sit for a few minutes, empty the pot and fill with clear water. Pour this into the machine and again let it run through completely. It is recommended that after each run through you turn the pot off. Cleaning your coffee maker rids the pot of mineral deposits that may have accumulated, oils from previous pots of coffee or any other impurities. If you are a coffee lover, this is the way to keep that coffee tasting fresh with each brewing.

It is important to acknowledge that whether you own a very inexpensive coffee maker or one of the more expensive brands, you need to keep your coffee machine clean. A dirty coffee maker will change the taste of the coffee and could make it taste bitter. More importantly, a dirty coffee maker will not run as efficiently as one that is cleaned on a regular basis. Again, this is significant whether you have either a high priced or inexpensive unit. You want your coffee maker to run efficiently and produce a great cup of coffee each morning so, like any other appliance you may own, this needs regular maintenance.

It does not take a long time to keep your coffee maker clean. An hour or two once a month will result in a great cup of coffee to start you on your way each morning. As one of the coffee companies advertise, it is good to the last drop, no matter what brand you may

Many people give coffee pots for house warming or wedding gifts. As such you want to know how to choose the Best Coffee Machines for different occasions. This can be a little difficult depending on the gift occasion but with a little thought and a few questions you can find the right one. There are a few things you might need to ask the person you are buying for though.

The first thing to think about is size of the pot. Is the person your giving the coffee pot too a single person who enjoys a single cup a day or a couple who drink several pots of coffee a day together? Once you have the right size figured out, you can move on to technology. Does your friend need the smell of coffee to wake up or would they prefer a quick brewing pot? Once you have those in mind, you can set your budget and really start looking for a good coffee pot. You don’t have to spend an outrageous amount of money to get a good maker, you can often find good pots for reasonable prices. Finally, its a good idea to let your gift receiver know about any warranty the pot has. It takes some thinking but you can buy Best Coffee Machines for anyone.

Finding the right beans for you and your coffee machine

It would be hard to find many people who don’t enjoy a good cup of coffee either first thing in the morning or with a satisfying meal. Sure, there are those who shun the rich aromatic flavor of coffee heaven. But as a general statement, people simply love their coffee. For the remainder of this article, the world’s most flavorful and Best Coffee Beans will be discussed with regard to specific tastes, coffee products, and overall satisfaction. So pull up a chair and enjoy.

Coffee, like numerous other food and drink specialties, comes in many different flavors and experiences. Even though there are literally hundreds, if not thousands, of coffee bean variations, roasts, and flavorings, each combination typically utilizes one of two primary coffee bean types: Arabica beans or Robusta beans. Between these two, 90% of the world’s Best Coffee Beans and subsequent coffees are crafted. Our discussion continues with the coffee bean known as the Arabica.

Named after the region in which they were first recognized, Arabian Yemen and Ethiopia, Arabica coffee beans have been long appreciated for their rich, deeply-woven flavors; not to mention their semi-intoxicating aromas. Also referred to as mountain coffee, Arabica beans are one of the world’s Best Coffee Beans because of where they grow, in the higher altitudes of countries such as Brazil and Colombia. The cooler growing conditions found at these higher elevations lead to slower growth and a subsequent richer flavor. Arabica beans also take longer to harvest due to their uneven ripening periods. Therefore, because of their richness, storied history, and excellent quality, Arabica beans comprise over 70% of the world’s coffee production. They are, however, more expensive due to the above-mentioned conditions. But more expensive or not, coffee growers and drinkers alike know quality when they taste it. And Arabica beans are the primary coffee bean in most of today’s gourmet coffees.

The second-most popular coffee bean found among the world’s Best Coffee Beans are Robusta beans. Since they are typically easier to grow, have a lesser tendency to experience frosty conditions (Robusta beans can be grown at lower, warmer temperatures), grow and ripen quicker, and best of all, contain sometimes double the caffeine as Arabica beans, Robusta beans are an excellent choice for those who enjoy a stronger brew or espresso. Robusta beans are also less expensive than their Arabica counterparts. So, taking all these benefits into consideration, between Arabica and Robusta beans, you definitely have the world’s Best Coffee Beans covered. Enjoy!
